Sanfermines

Most travelers to Spain have heard of this world-famous event, more commonly known by its English title, the Running of the Bulls. The week gala occurs at the Festival of San Fermin in Pamplona in July 7 Each year. Spanish men wearing the traditional white shirt and red scarf in the street, trying to overcome the bulls behind them. Festivals on a smaller scale take place in Tudela (July 24 – 28), Estella (the first Saturday of August) , Tafalla (August 20 – 25th), and Sanguesa (September 11 – 17).

Feria de Abril

If you travel to Spain to see some flamenco dance, this one-week was held in Seville in April is not to be missed. The festival was originally a cattle market, but it has evolved over the years in a paradise of flamenco paradise, with tasting tapas and sherry throughout the evening. Ceremonia del Tributo de las Tres Vacas

Translated literally, it means Three cow Ceremony Honoring , which has its roots in the contract dating from 1375. Visitors to the Valley region of Spain Roncal can participate in this event every year on July 13, where dignitaries of the city wear medieval costumes. French inhabitants of the valley Baretous are honored during the ceremony.

Day of Inmaculada

The statue of the Virgin Immaculada Seville hosts this celebration of late evening, gathering all the fraternities of Spain (known as tuna – easily recognized by their medieval costumes) and sing their traditional songs. The next morning , Dec. 7, the Danza de los grasps the cathedral, a dance composed entirely of children dressed in medieval wear.
