We recently took a trip to Mexico and decided to stay in Cabo for a week. Wow, what a Great holiday!

We stayed at Hacienda Del Mar which is a Sheraton resort and I musty truly say, we had the best time of our lives there. The overall feel of the resort is very Mexican and the staff was more than helpful with anything we wanted.

The swimming pools around the resort were awesome and we checked in every morning very early to get a nice spot by the pool and then only went down later on to start drinking some cocktails once happy hour started. We layed by the pool and just soaked up the sun and enjoyed every moment of Cabo while we were there.

We also went into town a few days and Cabo, like its known, was party capital. There are a variety of restaurants by the waterfront and clubs if you want go out clubbing at night.

We took a water taxi a few times and went down to the main beach, where there was loads of activities, from Jet ski hire, to taking cruises and we off course took ma awesome cruise on this party boat and went our snorkeling with a bunch of people.

Cabo is great and would recommend it o anyone planning a holiday to Mexico.

Umhlanga, South Africa

My wife and I recently went on week holiday to Umhlanga in South Africa and stayed at Umhlanga Sands. First of all I want to tell you that we had a great time there and will certainly go back.

Umhlanga is situated on South Africa’s East Coast and the closest airport is Durban International. We flew in and had a shuttle pick us up and take us through to the hotel.

The hotel room was very comfortable and all the rooms have a great sea view. They also have satellite television in the rooms if you feel like hanging in and enjoying a day ordering room service. Outside they had 2 beautiful swimming pools with loads of activities for adults and kids. There is a volleyball court, plus the beach is just a few steps away. You can also sit at the restaurant by the pool and order food and drinks and we had a few cocktails there every day.

The service was great and we a great time. We also went exploring and there are loads of things to do in and around like Ushaka Water world and Gateway shopping centre is you do feel you need anything, which by the way is huge.

If you do feel to step out and explore something different, surely give Umhlanga Sands a try, really a big thumbs up from me.

Cloister At Sea Island

The Cloister At Sea Island is a private five mile long coastal vacation spot in Georgia. Lappa Valley Steam Railway

Lappa Valley Steam Railway, is a railway with steam trains running between Benny Halt and East Wheal Rose train stations. The train travels, as its name suggests, through the Lappa Valley. The railway was opened in 1849, so today the tracks are probably the oldest tracks in Cornwall. The original lines closed in 1963, and the Lappa Valley Railway was formed in 1974 to provide the wonderful tourist attraction we have today.

The track was changed to a minature guage track, which I presume means it was narrower than a regular track, but still capable of running a full size steam prototype (as opposed to running miniature trains). The guage is 15 inch, as opposed to a full size guage, nearly four times the size.

This is a fun day out and if you can catch a sunny day, you will enjoy the day even more. The sound of a steam train, coupled with the rumbling track and traditional steam odours make for a realistic experience.

Lappa Valley Steam Railway is a wonderful railway where one can stay close by, in the many cottages available. Cornwall’s finest cottages, some of which are cottages quite near to such a fun tourist attraction.

Universal Studios Incredible Rides

Make sure you bring a change of clothes, because you will want to move on to Back to the Future.

Back to the Future will have you riding in a car like the one on the movie. The scenes from the movie literally come to life, and many people experience motion sickness…so if you are prone to motion sickness, you may want to skip this one. Other attractions not to miss if you enjoy thrills include Nickelodeon Blast Zone, Van Helsing: Fortress Dracula, the Special Effects Stages, and Shrek 4-D.

If you get scared easily, you may want to avoid these thrill rides and attractions. They are also not recommended for very young children, pregnant women, or people with heart conditions. Taking a vacation and don’t know where to go? How about that long awaited vacation to Paris?

Have you heard about the Eiffel Tower? This package is combined with a cruise too. Sounds romantic doesn’t it. You’ll get a tour first with a tour coach revealing the history of the Western Paris.
