Florida – The All Round Holiday Destination

Florida, otherwise known as The Sunshine State is well known for a number of reasons. Starting with Disney in Orlando, right down to Miami and The Florida Keys., we have all heard of Florida in some way either in the news, through our familys or just watching the television.

Florida is perfect for many different types of holiday.

Not only that, but it provides sunshine and warmth all year round which means it’s ideal for people who want to get away from the cold climes during the winter months to get top up their tans and seek out the feel good sun factor of the UV rays.

Florida is many different things to different people. From seeking out the sun on the beaches of Miami to spending your hard earned dollars in one of the Malls, it really does have something for everyone.

If you are a young couple visiting Florida there is plenty to see and do. Taking a trip down to The Florida Keys is highly recommended. The 120 miles of scenery and experiences of swimming in the only living-coral barrier reef in the US is not an experience that should be taken lightly. There is no more versatile coral destination in the world!

If diving is not for you, or if you are travelling with the family then it makes sense for you to head to the North of Florida and visit Disney World. The Disney experience is simply awesome and more often than not requires more than one day on the resort. Treat your family to a few days on the park whilst staying in one of the on site themed hotels. Along side Disney there is also the Universal Studios Theme Park, where you can experience the magical world of movie making. Such a fantastic experience for your children (and those young at heart)

As with all the great holiday destinations in the world Florida has some fantastic beaches . With miles of golden sand coastlines the beaches are often crawling with people, not just soaking up the rays but taking part in beach sports such as soccer and volleyball.

If you are travelling to Florida for your holiday / vacation then you need to consider your travel and accommodation arrangements. Of course it makes sense to stay in the area near to your planned activities.
